As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you’ll be part of our Customer Support team providing 2nd and 3rd level Technical Support related EVBox products including both hardware (charging stations) and software (cloud platform). Within this role you will interface directly with customers and internally with the 3'rd level support and development teams. The key focus for this role is Root Cause Analysis and issue trend analysis as well as coordinating the issue resolution process between the Customer and internal stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Product and application/operational support
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support related to all EVBox products in both hardware and software
  • Provide support for integration of EVBox hardware with 3rd party back-end platforms
  • Document and follow up with technical incidents including providing feedback to the relevant team(s) internally
  • Perform deep analysis of technical inquiries and provide feedback on hardware and firmware development
  • Provide technical assistance and training to colleagues   
  • Support and guide external service partners
  • Track tasks and follow up on tickets in the available ticket system

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (IT, Electronics, Robotics or similar)
  • Proven experienced in a 2nd or 3rd line Technical Support role 
  • Hands-on experience with development and/or support of Cloud connected Embedded software systems / IoT systems 
  • Superior communication and articulation skills - being a professional presentation of EVBox to our customers   
  • Knowledge on Embedded systems, firmware and software
  • Knowledge on M2M communication standards and platforms
  • Superior troubleshooting/analytical skills
  • Experience with Data Analysis preferred
  • Proven skills in creating technical documentation / support articles
  • Experience in the EV industry, automotive or electrical industry is preferred
  • Experience with Embedded C, Scripting languages, JSON, XML, is a strong plus
  • Fluent English, 
  • Fluency in Dutch preferred
